Rites of Passage Leadership Training

At our mystical castle in the French Ardennes | 29-31 May 2026

This three-day training is for those who feel called to work with life transitions and to develop transformational programs. It is grounded in the understanding that Rites of Passage are a necessary and often missing element in human development, offering structure, meaning and direction during times of change.

You are introduced to the Rites of Passage Framework and the theory behind transformation, including the core stages of separation, transition and integration. You engage with this framework both conceptually and experientially, deepening your understanding of how intentional processes can support individuals and groups through significant life transitions.

Led by Dr. Arne Rubinstein, Founder and CEO of the Rites of Passage Institute, the training draws on nearly 30 years of international experience. Programs based on this framework have reached hundreds of thousands of people across more than 25 countries, supporting healthier transitions in diverse cultural and social contexts.

Throughout the training, you develop insight into the essential elements of a Rite of Passage and the role of liminal space in transformational work. The focus is on cultivating the awareness, confidence and discernment required to guide others through periods of uncertainty and change.

You are invited to experience these elements directly and to reflect on how they may be applied within your own professional or community contexts. Time is given to explore where Rites of Passage could be meaningful in your existing work environment and to begin shaping program ideas that are age-appropriate, culturally relevant and responsive to real needs.

The emphasis is not on fixed formats, but on understanding the principles that support genuine transformation and integration.

You join a diverse group of people working with transformation in many forms, including education, mentoring, coaching, therapy, community work and facilitation. What connects you is a shared commitment to creating meaningful and healthy transitions for individuals and groups.

Beyond frameworks and concepts, the training offers connection — to yourself, to others and to a wider international field of practitioners engaged in this work. Many participants describe the experience as both professionally grounding and personally clarifying.

You leave with a strengthened sense of purpose, practical insights for working with life transitions, and a felt connection to a growing movement dedicated to fostering resilience, emotional intelligence and belonging through well-held Rites of Passage.
